Stacey brings to the table deep expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).
Stacey has over 20 years of experience in international development, education, monitoring, evaluation, and policy analysis, with a particular focus on programmatic strategies that increase access to quality education for disadvantaged children in developing countries.
Stacey provides technical services on programmatic aspects including: strategy, planning, program design, implementation, management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, donor relations, and financial management.
Most recently, Stacey worked at Room to Read where she held a variety of positions including: Global Director of Literacy, Global Program Director, Global Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and Africa Expansion Consultant. During her tenure at Room to Read she was responsible for launching new programs; growing the organization’s programs, new country expansion and monitoring and evaluation efforts; and managing all programmatic efforts worldwide. Her career in education and international development started as a teacher in Namibia. Stacey has also held positions at the Harvard Institute for International Development, the World Peace Foundation, and Rockman et al. She has managed projects in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, and the United States. Stacey holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a master’s degree in International Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University.
