Lisa brings 20 years of experience developing strategies for mission-driven nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

Lisa is a Partner and Head of Strategy. She specializes in developing adaptive strategies that increase and accelerate impact and communicate that impact to stakeholders.

She brings almost 20 years of experience developing strategies for mission-driven nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Lisa’s work spans human rights, environmental stewardship, global health, mental health, youth development, and triple bottom line approaches. Lisa also specializes in developing learning and impact measurement practices that provide insights into programmatic, organizational, and systems-level impacts.

Lisa’s passion for advising began at the Boston Consulting Group where she developed business strategies for companies that facilitated new market entry and product development. She also supported nonprofit clients in scaling their operations cost effectively. Lisa’s passion for mission-driven work began when she was a Peace Corps volunteer living in West Africa developing rural programming and as an Investment Consultant at Cambridge Associates where she advised endowments on mission-aligned investing practices.

Most recently, Lisa supported Hopelab (a private foundation funded by the Omidyars) to evolve their vision, mission and strategy in response to COVID and other challenges and opportunities affecting teen and young adult mental health. Her work included strategic planning, facilitation, organizational design, and implementation planning.

Prior to her work with Hopelab, Lisa built and led the Strategy, Learning and Impact practice at Humanity United, where she developed strategies and restructured programming in peacebuilding and human trafficking in Asia, Africa and South America. She also led global human rights and environmental strategy development at Gap Inc. affecting programming in over 25 countries. Her work included developing programming, data systems, leadership development, business plan creation and driving alignment among key internal and external stakeholders.

Lisa received a B.A. from Colby College in Sociology and Spanish and an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with a certificate in nonprofit management. She is a mindfulness practitioner and embraces multiple wisdom practices. She is also a runner, weightlifter, and outdoor adventurer.
